You should be fine. The body shop that repaired my car washed the car a day or two after the new panels were painted. You just need to wait at least a month before waxing/polishing so the paint can cure.

just use a light soft mnit or soemthing soft..and go over it very gently with a little bit of soap and rinse off very quickyl or else u will get permanent streaks in the clear coat...if the body shop still has to buff it for you which they should doi to get the tiny imperfections out of it(there always are some) if they are a good body shop they should do this for you ..after they do that feel free to do whatever u want to it....hey blue bomber..sometimes the body shop doesnt use soap after they have painted the car becasue the soap can eat away trhe clear coat if it is still soft...so they might have washed your car with just a wet rag or something to get the top dirt off....
