lol, actually do a little research and you'll find that the automotive GT designation came from the italian Gran Turismo that roughly translates to Grand Touring in english. So technically it can be called either one but Gran Turismo is actually the correct term as it's the original...LONG before the game was made. Hell long before the people who made the game were probably born.

exactly, i totally agree. i couldn't stand driving my celica looking like stock. as soon as i had the money i dropped it, added wheels, and a body kit and now it looks so much more aggressive. stock definitely has a girl's look to it.

I had a "turbo" fund set aside. Then I looked at some 1/4 mile stats on this site and compared them to my bf's STi runs. After that, I figured it wasn't worth it. I might as well just make it into a good autox car if anything.

That's basically what I was implying. Most people think turbo = instant almighty speed. In reality it is a ****ton of money and time. Sure it can be rewarding but for the same price of a gts + turbo + tune, you can get something with equivalent speed stock.
