APEXI N-1 Exhaust - Noise Violation w/out silencer?

Hi all,
Got a simple question kinda lame so I'm postin it here... I was thinkin of getting the Apexi n-1 exhaust and want to know if it's illegal to have without a silencer because of noise.. (don't want any traffic tickets for it.) I live in southern california if that helps any. Thnx in advance

nopes.. i have an apex n1 axleback... its fine w/out the silencer.. it has the DOT papers to prove it... IF u do get caught which i highly doubt it.... den jus e-mail apex-i and ask them for the DOT papers and bring that fu*ken cop to court and own his ass

You shouldn't have a problem if you have all the papers you need to prove it isn't in violation. Just watch out for hard ass cops looking for someone to pull over though...they can be a bitch.
