im shopping suspensions. looking to get a full coilover setup. just wondering who whould know which is a better set up. the tein go for a little more and the d2 come with the mount pillow mounts. look like the D2 give a little more for you buck...

for 200 more you get tein SSP that has camber mounts and can get an edfc (not really needed but a fun toy)

D2s are terrible. Avoid.

i have d2 coilovers at the moment. so far so good. lots of features for the price like you said.

Don't take it personally but every shred of evidence I have ever seen indicated the valving on D2s is universal for every car. Slava (the mod here) has a set on his MR2 and the welds broke and the valving sucked. It was actually markedly worse than stock.

How about Tein Flex :) Not available in USA, but available in Japan.

i like my d2s but someday hope to get something much better.
havent had any real trouble with the coilovers yet. ive had them for about a year like i said so far so good.
