As the title states. I bought ksport coilovers for my Pontiac Vibe and because the vibe is a lot heavier than the Celica I bottom out my back coils. So I am thinking about taking them off and selling them.
I am currently waiting to hear back from ksport if they can make a custom spring to fit my application. But in the meen time. Because the buyer would most likely need to buy new front endlink mounts because I needed to enlarge the hole by a few mm. I am taking that in to consideration and I would be asking 695 shipped to the USA.
I paid 860.
They have less than 300miles on them.
The photos below are from when i got them and with them installed.
Once I hear back from ksport if they can make it work for my car or not I will repost new photos with my screen name in the for sale section once i take them off the car.
If your interested PM me

Yes!
I am sorry I have received several PM's about this very question.
I guess I should have been a bit clearer
Because my Vibe is AWD it has independent rear suspention as you can see from the above photo. And because the celica is also an independent rear suspention the ksports i bought bolt right up.
As i stated in my first post the front coils i needed to enlarge the mounting hole for the endlink. I needed to enlarge the mounting holes for the crash bolts as well but those shouldn't cause a problem the only thing that may cause the problem is the endlink mount.
I bought ksport part number CTY06-KP
If you like you can check ksports site:
http://www.ksportusa.com/asp/coilovers_international.asp?product_id=cd01
The front spring rate is 9/504
The rear right now is 6/336
I am currently working with ksport to see if they can make a spring 8/448 to replace the 6/336 spring for my rear
Because the rear axle weighs 1300lbs. The spring rate that came with the coils isn't strong enough.
below is a current photo of the set up. I am dropped a touch over 3 inches.

And no i can't raise the car up to keep the spring from bottoming out. In order to raise up the rear suspention on the ksports you need to adjust the spring perch to do so and because the Vibe is heavier it won't raise the car any further it just compresses the spring further causing the bottoming out on really bad potholes.

looks like a standard 2.5 id spring to me, couldn't you just buy new stronger springs from eibach?
or just switch the front springs to the rear, and rear to the front?

See first post;) but for you because you didn't read the whole post 725shipped HAHAHA

That is what i am trying to figure out with ksport. Their techs need to figure out the angles and compression.
They can sell me the new spring but if i put it in and it too stiff or still too soft now i have two sets of used springs that ksport won't take back.
I theory I can switch the front to the rear but there is nothing wrong with the fronts. They are perfect.
If i switch the fronts to the rear.. i will be worse off
The car weighs in just under 3000lbs... so do the math if the rear weighs 1300lbs.. the front weighs 1700..

If someone wants those as well with the coils I will throw those in for another 100bucks.
I just bought them for 170.

Looks like I will be taking them out tomorrow.
All PM's have been replied to.
I will post new photos in the forsale section with my name. I know I don't have many posts on the celica boards but I am a very active member on matrixowners and genvibe. Same screen name if you want to look me up there.
