So Im probably going to pick up TEIN S.Tech Lowering Springs and KYB AGX Struts for my ride. With these being a 1.4" drop will I need to worry about crossing railroad tracks or speed bumps and the like? Also, the most important question - Will this setup cause my tires to scrape? I currently have 195/60 R15 tires on. (they are brand new so they are staying until I buy some 17" wheels) Right now they are fine except if I crank the wheel extremely to the left or right, talking about as far as they can possibly go, I can hear slight scraping. Not bad, only a little, but its still there. Is this normal, and if I drop it 1.4" will it cause me problems as is?

Here it is now, about 3 weeks old to me. Havent done anything to it yet besides tire replacement, alignment and had all the fluids flushed and refilled.

i think you should be fine. its when you get to that 2in plus drop with sportlines, skunk2, dropzone springs, etc that you have some difficulty in certain situations. but i like the agressive drop more and am willing to deal with the consequences.

Yeah this should provide you with a smooth drop, I've got this on mine.

I have H&R which are 1.3" all around, have no issues with rail road tracks, speed bumps or the occasional pot hole.
