A good header (other than ppe)

Hi,

My friend was telling me to get ppe header for my gts. But, it seems like installation and removal is somewhat troublesome. So, I'm contemplating on getting other headers which are easier for install and removal, in case the authorities claim that its illegal. :o:

Would trial or trd header be good options? Thanks.

Did you not read everyone else's responses?? Have your stock header ported.

PPE > Trial > Ported Stock
i think is what everyone suggest

PPE and Trial are both a little expensive so your best bet is getting ported
or if you saved up PPE or Trial

Trial is worthless if you allready planing on spending money on a header besided boosteds

If you can find a TRD race header and can afford it, get one. It's a long tube race header like the PPE

Weapon R race header is a good one, but it focuses its power in the midrange and not the high end.

Dude...how the heck is a shorty header supposed to be that much easier in installation?? You're still going to have to do 80% of the work for the race header installation as well. That heat shield has to come off...

How different is it to put TRD headers on than the PPE headers, as i have seen the TRD are shorter. Would the TRD be better at higher rpms?

if you remove your valve cover and heatshield you can probably pull the header up and out from the engine bay with a shorty. race header you would probably have to drop the subframe / crossmember
