So I'm looking into lowering springs atm(just to get me by until i buy coilovers)

However I'd like to know what you guys think. I want the tanabe springs but there are three types, the performance ones at 1.5 all around and the "comfort" ones at the same drop but there is another set with a 2 and 2.5in drop.

My question is that I am buying a set of 19x10 and 19x8.5 rims and the k1 widebody kit, what would be a better drop to go with the 1.5 or 2/2.5??

Any help/tips you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

18's are still pretty big and if you have a good tire to fill the gap it will look fine. 19's are a little overkill.

he is going for a widebody, so I dont think he really cares on performance, and 19" is just beautiful.
I do not really know much about springs, but I think that since you go for 19", 1.5 drop is enough

Why buy Tanabe springs? there's nothing special about them and people here tend not to be particularly happy with them. I would look at Tein S-techs if i were you, seem to be what the majority of people doing builds like yours buy.

Those wheels will make your car dirt slow but it sounds like you're building a trailer queen anyway so it doesn't really matter.

Not really a trailer queen. But i dont want to spend a ton of money on the springs when i will be buying coilovers as soon as i can afford them right after i pay for the kit and wheels.

The car isn't fast as it is so i'm not really too worried about that right now. I will later down the road do something whether it be s/c or turbo but for now this is what i've got. As for why going with 19s, its a widebody and i found a nice set for a reasonable price and i dont have to custom order or spend 5000+.
