It this belongs in the technical section, then sorry. I didn't quite know where maintenance would go to. Anyways here it goes....

What mileage maintenance have you guys taken the car in for. I haven't done any maintenance on my car from the dealer and I'm at 20,000 miles. I always just changed oil and liquids myself, rotated tires. So I was wondering if you guys think it is worth the couple hundred bucks to get the 20,000 mile service. Any opinions and comments would be greatly appreciated. By the way what's the difference between a dealer maintenance and tune-up?

Oh and if I wanted things like belt tensioner and other TSB things done by the dealer, is the only thing I have to do is give them the TSB number?

Thanks a lot.

Peter

Alright well If you do all the minor stuff I think that you should definately do the 30k service. As for the TSB they have to notice the problem themselves. So if it's the belt tensioner the car has to demonstrate the problem (squeeking etc....)

The belt tensioner TSB problem is temperature dependent. The problem only happens when it's cold. I brought mine in on a warm day, described the problem, which was not currently happening, and they fixed it based upon my reporting.
