I just want to thank everyone who is a user on this site. If it wasn't for the posts about our cars I don't think I would have ever been able to get my problem solved. My engine was having a problem hitting lift for about 3 months. The dealer first told me that I was using the wrong type of engine oil. Then they tried to accuse me of over revving the engine. Finally the just told me that unless it threw a check engine code that there was no problem. After running a search on this problem I found many similar cases that had been repaired by Toyota. When I printed the info off and took it to the service manager, he finally agreed to have a person from technical service look at the car. Needless to say he immediately diagnosed the problem and Toyota rebuilt my top end due to a pin searing off on the intake camshaft. Luckily I have everyone on this message board to thank for the information that was provided by this site. A special thanks goes out to all of the moderators and the people behind the scenes who make this site possible. Without you, I wouldn't be able to feel the rush of adrenalin when my car hits 6 grand.

Looks like i might have to do the same thing. My car doesn't hit lift till like 7K rpm...I only have 13K miles on it, the toyota dealer**** errr. meant dealership says everything is fine.

yeah AC wasnt a very nice place.. its kinda ironic GTS LAID.. I ended up staying at Comfort Inn right next store to Atlantic Palace
