View Full Version : What product can i use to clean my headlight?

my headlights look so dirty (spots? or something). soap and water is not working. is there a headlight cleaning product? could these spots on my headlights be inside the headlight? i really want to get rid of these things. i wish i could afford a pair of new headlights....

I was watching crank and chrome the other week, they have tips on how to get rid off that dirt or oxydization blah whatever on the plastic housing on the head lights. First they used a metal polisher applicator and it's like waxing it, doing it in circles, after 3-5 min. wipe it off with a cloth then apply the Meguiar's Plastic polisher. I hope this helps.

I had this problem on my 94 Corolla and I'm kinda experiencing some of this on my Celi, I've followed the tips I've watched on the crank and chrome and it works. I'll post pics after I wash my car tomorrow.

It rained once while I was in the office, and then the sun came out and baked some waterspots on my headlights. The Mother's Plastic Polish took it all right out. I just used it a couple days ago on my friend's GT-S to take his waterspots out too... looks fantastic. It's in a red bottle. I used to use it to clean up the headlights and taillights on my CRX.

You just work it in, and buff it out. ;)

i cant believe this, i went to 2 different stores and they were both sold out with the mothers plastic polish. i guess i'll go to another store tomorrow.

any pics of before and after?
