For all that and still only 6.4 to 60? That seems kinda crappy. I wonder what it would run in the quartermile.

i am sure it can do it faster than that, 6.4 is the manufacturers estimate and for german cars it is always underestimated. i think it would do 5's easily. more horsepwer and torque than a wrx and near the same weight hmm. all you have to do is fly to germany and buy one haha.

I don't know... you have to remember that the USDM 1.8T Golf weights in at 2950lbs... and that's with a 5-Speed and a 1.8L motor and without some of those luxury items seen in this R32 model... That 3.2L V6 will add some considerable heft and that AWD 4Motion system will also add a LOT of weight... and then the weight difference between a 6-Speed and 5-Speed tranny... I'd say this car isn't as "light" (I use this term lightly) as a WRX STi would be... just my thought.

I'd never buy one just based on the fact that everyone I know who has had a VW had tons of problems with it. I'd take an STI over it anyday of the week.
