On the way to LA, I hit a big @$$ flat truck tire. That took out my front bumper and plastics on the bottom. I don't have the oil pan plastics nor both wheelwell plastics. How does that affect your car? and How much is it to get replacements.... shiet it is looking pretty ugly..i got plastics dragging on the ground right now.. is it okay to not to have those plastics in place? I need some help here

Well, if they're dragging on the ground, take them off.

They're not exactly critical components of the car, so I wouldn't worry about driving without them for a while.

I don't know about replacement costs, but if they're not too beat up and you just need new fasteners, try Lowe's...they have a "specialty fastener" area that has several drawers of "automotive fasteners"...I found some good replacements for the under engine tray fasteners there.

i had the same thing happen to me. i was stuck out in the boons so i cut them off with a razor. i proceeded to drive across the country without them. You risk damage to components down there (a rock put a nice dent in my then exposed oil pan) and the car is a lot louder inside. Are you in the Bay Area at all (I dont remember)? I may be able to get my hands on a set on the cheap. Otherwise you are probably out of luck. Some dealer wanted almost $400 to replace all four sections. Let us know how it goes.

It did happened on my way to L.A. I cut pieces off as soon as I got there, but that didn't fix the problem. It got worse when I was driving back due to strong wind and what not. Now, I had to remove everything. I have no plastics protecting my bottom nor my wheelwells.

I am not in the Bay, but the bay is my Hometown. How much are you asking? I can have my friend pick it up for me. PM me.
