I'm planning to get me me a set of wheels which is 17x7.5 and an offset of 48mm. Will I be having any problems with this besides rubbing? Can i still put them on my car without having to use a wheel spacer? And for tires i'm planning to put on 215/40 17 or 215/45 17. tnx!

I think a 48 mm offset might be too much. I think the biggest we can go is a 42 offset.

what do you mean? +48 won't fit at all or there'll be too much rubbing?

so it wont fit at all? Or just too much rubbing? Coz i really like the rims

I suspect a +48 offset will hit the calipers.

It won't look very good and won't handle as well as a more proper 38-40mm offset.

As for it working or not? Well, that depends on the wheel and tire you use, and unless someone has tried that exact combo they won't know for sure.

The problems isn't witn the tires rubbing.

The rim just won't clear the calipers. The spokes on the wheel will hit your brake calipers as it turns and will easily damage your wheels and caliper.

I suggest if you going 48mm, get H&R spacers... 5mm will work, and or get 10-15mm if you want bigger tires and a better handling car (wider is better).

you want the rota subzeros dont ya? i was gonna get the exact same rims and get a 5mm H&R spacer to correct it so that they would fit. too bad the spacers are on backorder for about another 6-8 weeks. now i gotta find another rim.

so i guess i'll just try to find me some wheel spaces, if not, look for other rims. Thanks for all the help guys.

only bad thing about the spacers is they are on backorder. you can get other spacers but they arent non-hubcentric or whatever.

So where can we place orders for the H and R spacers?

i currently have a +43 offset, no problems, barely rubs. about the rotas, i think the 16's are a lower offset. the 17's for sure are +48.
