Here's what they told me in e-mail:
Well, the supercharger is from Magnuson which is "magnacharger"..... Hotchkis
worked in conjunction with Magnacharger to prototype this Celica
supercharger....

email for magnacharger is info@magnacharger.com

www.magnacharger.com you can find tech email as well I think at tech@magnacharger.com

their applications are all trucks and such so I almost dont' think it will go into any mass production... however it is worth a try

Looks like the exact same supercharger that TRD uses on their Matrix Pace Car. Looks good. Hopefully we get more info on that soon.

I was reading that J.C. and some of the guys at Hotchkis were dissapointed in the turn out of Celica owners at Hotchkis track days.

WTF gives Cali??? if this were even within a 12 hour drive I'd be there...

Please guys, represent at these track days.... we can't lose hotchkis, they are our biggest aly by far in this very shallow field of supporters.

Some people need to work to keep the car. I would have went but hell... 400 dollar car payment means me at work.

Good point. I tried to get tickets to spectate, but when I called Hotchkis, they said they were sold out. I assumed lots of Celica guys snatched up many of the tickets. I guess I was wrong.

I"m not trying to be a jerk at all. I understand if people just couldn't make it. But it is troublesome that so many Celica owners will jump at the chance to go to an "import showoff". Yet when we have a true performance company that wants to show off products for OUR car, when we are having trouble convincing companies to produce things.... ... it's just dissapointing to hear those types of things...

Hey guys, I know I was dissapointed with Celica peeps' about the turn out for our evevnt... But I do whole heartedly understand if someone has work to make a car payment...! That should come first and I commend you guys that had to do that...
But for those who did not have to work, I am still a bit baffled....
I get tons of phone calls and e-mails each day from Celica owners and when opportunities like this arise you have to take advantage... These events are for you guys... To ask questions in person with John Hotchkis himself... Hell, he was giving rides around the track to the few Celica guys that did show up... They were pretty excited to say the least....!!!!!!

Dude.. Import Showoff is on a weekend, and it cost $25~$50 to show for the whole day. Now this event was on a working weekday and a far drive for most of us plus the cost to enter is not cheap. So it is not that we do not want to go, it is all of the above reason that we did not go.
Now I understand the cost is higher because get less people and have more runs in. Just not so far, I think it was at Bakersfield or something 4+ hours just to get there.
I would go to this event if I have my turbo and my sway bars installed to test my celica, but I do not have all those installed so I did not go.
After that SCC article mentioning Hotchikis Celica I bet there were alot more people buying parts from Hotchikis, so I see the best way to support Hotchikis is to buy their products. So we are supporting Hotchikis where it counts.

Any word about the "Magna-charger"? I'd really like to see some numbers and find out if this will be mass produced for us Celica ppl.

Calm down, I seriously doubt this is a kit hotchkis is producing, you or anyone else can do the exact same thing. Take your car to a good race speedshop, and they can contact people like magnuson or rotrex, and custom build you a supercharger or turbo. Waiting for a bolt-on kit is futile. It needs to be done right anyway.. from the block up, much like im sure hotchkis has done here. It's something to drool over. Can't wait to see all the specs and stats for it.
