55 shot on GTS

I was wondering if anyone has sprayed a 55 on their GTS. if so did you set-up the fuel and what other things...

I have spryed a 50 sot on a GT-S plain NX jets for the 50 shot. No other modifications.

Was that with a dry or wet kit. and if a dry kit did you add any fuel??

WET! WET! WET! WET! DO NOT GET A DRY KIT, GET A WET KIT!!! Dry is not good, it messes stuff up. I've seen the consequences

I think if he added fuel it would be a wet kit, unless the clever bugger had managed to add nitrous control to the stock ECU and ramp up fuel delivery on injection.

55 Shot should be no problem on the GT or GTS, just make sure its a wet kit and the fuel pressure is regulated to the injector.

Yeah my car is completely stock, even down to the stock air filter. Oh and I am not that dumb to go dry.(gawd I hate it when it is dry). Wet kits are the only way to go on a stock motor

A 75 shot on a NX kit is about 90 hp at the crank with the bottle at 1000 psi. With this very hot weather we have been having in Dayton, you are probably seeing over 100 hp at the crank. Are you still using the nitrous a lot in this weather? If so, and your engine holds up over time, then you will prove what our engines can take.

Whats the difference between wet and dry kits? I hate the bottle , but with no one gettting a turbo set-up for the GT-S, I'm kinda bored...

wet is with fuel, dry is just nitrous meaning your relying on your AFC to give the car more fuel

Actually, there is a company that will supply internals to do that. I don't remember the name, maybe some one else will remember it. I think it was like, monkywrench, or something. Anyway, they had a thread on this site a while ago saying that they could do custom internals at a reasonable cost. I emailed them and told them my target hp goal and that I wanted the car to be streetable. I was interested in going NA, he reccomended that I build the car up for a NOS. He said he could build the engine up for a NOS much more inexpensively than building it up for forced induction(the route I told him I was headed) or NA, and that is what he reccomended. I wasn't interested in building my engine up for a NOS so I passed. Any body remember the name of that comany? They were located in Detroit MI.

a 75 shot is 75whp or around 100hp incrase on your car.. its definitely worth it.. wether or not taking the chance of blowing up yer engine is worth it is up to you..

WWW.Monkeywrenchracing.com has the internals to do it. I think its like 700 for the pistons and 650 for the rods but its a start.

i just stuck the 50 shot in last week...was run 35 just to be safe and have a tad more umph!. so far sprayed the 50 twice, but looking into fixing up pistons etc...so i can be safe.

the power fc they sell is a japanese unit, if its like the one for my mr-s itll bolt right in. Just have to knock the timing back for US pump gas.

I thought there was a big discussion on that a while ago..speed govoner that is. And i have also heard that the 2002 celi's have a rev limiter in nutral or when the clutch is not pushed in. I have a 2000 celica but the reason why i am asking is b/c my brother wants a 2002 celica, and i am just trying to find out some info for him. If you know anything on the rev limiter or the speed gov. please inform me.....TIA

hukster00.. yes that would allow you to run 100shot of nitrous BUT that would make your car a dog off nitrous and not much of a daily driver..
