I found a great deal on a set of scion TRD 4 lug wheels that I just hate to part with.
Has anyone seen a 5 to 4 lug conversion kit anywhere at anytime?
I need to know if I'm just searching hopelessly or not.
If i found the coversion spacers it would be perfect because I would have the nicer offset at the same time.

You're the first person I've ever heard of that wanted to change his 5 lug to a 4 lug. And no I've never heard of a 5-4 lug conversion kit. Sorry.

wheel adapters are probably what you are going to need. Not too many wheels shops have them do to the fact that rims are not that expensive any more. Try ebay or do so searching on line. They are out there.

buy them and resell them to get some wheels that actually fit your car

I notice in your sig that you are from ohio, you might want to look at craigslist if your are on a budget. If you have the wheels in hand alot of people may trade. But i would stick too 5-lug wheels you will have more choices.

Actually, 5x100 isn't exactly a popular lug pattern. What is popular is 4x100, thanks to the Civic and Miata crowds. In my search for lightweight 15" wheels I came across many 4x100s and very few 5x100s. I was pretty handicapped in the choices available to me. I've recently begun looking into this conversion myself. If you're going to go with 17" or larger wheels though, it's not worth the trouble converting as there are plenty of options for those. If you want a 15" or 16" wheel (and you want it wide and light), that's another story...
