Because everyone else is doing it. :gap: I love my CF hood. I can't imagine my car without it.

truthfully, it removes weight where it is needed most. Away from the center of the vehicle and high off the ground. You end up with a lower polar moment of inertia as well as better weight distribution, lower center of gravity, and overall lighter car.

To the best of my knowledge, it doesn't really increase performance dramatically, but every little bit helps in such a low weight car and hey, it looks cool too.

I've heard bad things about VIS and heard sunny style is good for the money you pay. Andy just drive up to MB and pick one up for less than $400.....

I have a C-Wings hood, and it's the best looking and fitting hood I have seen. I am very impressed with it. For a quality Carbon hood you are looking at around $600

OK SUNNY STYLINGS >> groub buy..if you want in go to gb section. i'm running it. and its 500 shipped. 475 shipped if we have 7 ppl pay. and if you pay 500, you will be refunded the 25 once there's 7 people. so everyone jump in....

I've got sunny style.....doesn't fit perfect....its a little crooked.....one side lifts up a hair above the other side.... once I got the hood pins, it straightened out....looks perfect....quality is fairly good.....I see no reason at all to go $600 bucks for a hood.. ....I paid $470....for the money, I couldn't be happier...great hood.

Does the scoop on the carbon fiber hood function the same as the one on the stock hood???
