How the title says. Cause we had a non stock ecu, so maybe it was used for it. (You can look in sig) Now we dont know if it should be connected somewhere or we can throw it out...

Yes. I saw a picture of that today.

If you can see the crank pulley, it its about 3/4 of the way down on the right side of the pulley in the picture. There is a short wire that is part of it with a connector on the end. You should be able to tell if it is there and if it is connected to anything.

^Thats probably a 2zz engine.

We have the crank wheel sensor on our car but we had an non stock ecu, so wanted to know if the crank wheel is also stock.

And where should it be connected to? Is there somewhere underneath the ungine a wire to it?

You don't have a stock crankshaft position sensor there. Looks like they changed the puley to accomodate a non-stock sensor. The 1ZZ is similar to the 2ZZ, having a crank wheel inside the timing cover.

No, it's 1ZZ. There is no "YAMAHA" in that shot.

And where should it be connected to? Is there somewhere underneath the engine a wire to it?Take that off. That sensor is definetly non-stock. There is no external toothed wheel either. Plus you have an extra drive pulley (with the toothed wheel) on top of of the normal pulley.

The crankshaft position sensor is part 2.

It plugs into the C4 crankshaft position sensor connector (on page 32)

Which has a shielded pair of wires (orange and white)

Do you think we have to put out the whole engine?Look through the wheel well on that side with the bottom plastics removed.
