My celica has never had anyone other than me do it. I didn't have to ask for directions though. I'd be happy to show you, but I'm not sure I want the liability of trying to explain it...

He he - that was my thought too but I didn't want to be rude and say it... but seriously if you don't know how to change oil you should probably have someone that DOES know show you how the first time around. Its easy but if you mess up if can have expensive consequences.

1) Drive car onto ramps.
2) Remove plastic cover under the passenger side of the engine.
3) remove drain plug and drain oil.
4) replace oil filter (easy once the car is on ramps).
5) put it back together.
6) Top off with oil (about 4.5 quarts for a GTS, 4? auarts for the GT).
7) Start and check for leaks.
8) back off of ramps.
9) shut off car for 10 min. Top oil off to full line on the dipstick.
When done properly, this should only be a 1 paper towel job.

The drain plug in on the bottom of the black metal oil pan. Its generally a 14MM - I recommend getting a filter and drain plug gasket from Toyota B4 you do teh job - the Toyota filters have some very nice filter technlogy and an anti drain back valve in them.
And don't forget to always change your oil with the engine hot, but after its sat for about 10 minutes. Hou want it Hot to maximize the amount of oil that will drain out, but you need to give it a little time after running it to make its way down to teh pan.
