How to clean the engine's grainy metal?

Hey i tried wiping it .. but the dirt/dust just smeers more on the metal. I had the engine steem cleaned last time sooo im not shure what to use on it now, does anyone know what to use to get it nice and dirt free?

theres a product called engine brite.. it comes in a big spray orange can.... the sh1t is strong.. but it works on shining an engine.

CD 2 engine cleaner / detailer.. nice and shiny. but don't use on asphalt driveways...I got stains on it now... might need a little tooth brush to get the stubborn stains off the rough texture.

ps. don't breath that stuff.. you'll get a high.

I used Grease Lightning on mine and it worked great.

I use Simple Green exclusively and my 2+ year old engine looks like new still.

if you're white...than why does that pic of the eye look like a girls eye. and if that's not your eye (which i'm hoping) who's is it? oh...and nice clean engine! mines like that too...clean...

The white part is a joke. I am not white, not even close, Chinese and Cambo mix. The eye belongs to some model in one of my photography magazines.

I like cars with clean engine bays! So pretty to look at.
