Well I never got the brochure. Before I got the Celica, I was debating between the Accord V6 coupe and the Celica. And I just went on the internet and read all the stuff I could about both cars. I was on edmunds.com and celica.net all the time.

They are SO beautifully designed. I love 'em. Yes, I too have them stashed away in a sacred place, LOL.
Good reference for misc. stuff like options, curb weight, dimensions, etc...!

Im bad too...
I have Celica stuff all the way back in 90's.
I have a Magazine Clipping for the GT4.
I was like 9 or 10 when I starting obsessing with the Celica.

I shouldn't have read this Brochure and bought this car. Toyota Marketing is good, they cheated me, on the 00 brochure it says the car has adjustable front headrests--under the red safety feature section.
The brochure also says the car has close ratio 6 speed gearbox, which is half true, only 3-4-5 gears are close.
Overall, I enjoyed the performance of the car, but it certainly is not worth $23000. The car is sold by the way.

Yeah... I have one and I still look at the brochure.
But before I bought it I compared the Integra Type R (my first choice and basis for comparison) to the Celica and the Celica won out except the type R handled a hair better. I was going to buy a GSR but completely changed my mind.
does anyone have the motor trend or car and driver or whatever it was that had the original XYR ad in it??

The first magazine I have with the Celica in it I believe was a Motor Trend and it was a comparison between the Celica, GSR, and the Eclipse GT.
I also have 2 different brochures for the Celi :D

I am not sure what you are talking about larry but I have the protype test drive from 98 or 99 that motor trend did. and I had the brochure hanging on my wall for about 6 months before I had enough money to buy my car.

did someone say XYR? hehe, :D
That was what got me to look into the celi, when they had the concepts featured in the website...the Celica, Echo and MR2 Spyder (MR-S in concept)

i think i might be the biggest celica fan. I have a copy of the first ever picture of the celica when it was the xyr concept (from like 1998). I keep it in my wallet.....its been there ever since i first saw it, even before i bought the car. I forget what magazine it was off of, but it was a yellow concept car and it was on the front cover.

I also have the '00 brochure. My Toyota Dealership had the poster of the last picture (Spectra Blue with the race car) hanging in the Service waiting area, and I wanted to ask them if I could have it but the next time that I went there it was gone. :(
Does anyone know where to get it?

I have about 2 or 3 of each brochure from '00 - '02. I also have about a 20 foot wallsize laminated Celica poster and a 10 foot high cardboard stand of a Celica. Don't ask where I got them but I do! I also have 3 different toy Celica's including a model, 3 Hot Wheels Celicas, and a smaller mechanical one that drives forward when you roll the wheels back. I am obsessed with anything I can get my hands on to do with Celicas I suppose..... :)

I went through 2 of the brochures. I remember showing one of my friends the first one, then for some reason he ripped it and I was crushed :D Well, I just sent for another one and that was it. And there was a lot of internet reviews and car mag reviews I still have (the MT April 2000 GT-S v. ITR was my favorite for some reason).
