Sadly, its time for the celica to go.... life in santa barbara ain't cheap and being a grad student just doesn't pay as well as it used to (going off fellowship soon).
I don't have either the time or energy to part it out, and haven't even had the time to get it fully tuned. You could definitely get a lot more money for the parts than I am selling it for. I'll let it go for a grand under KBB ~11,000 pre-tuning or a grand over KBB if I get it tuned ~13,000. I would likely get it tuned to between 260 and 300 whp.
The car has a custom turbo system with a Garrett disco potato turbo that's good to ~350 HP. Lag is next to nothing with the high stall torque converter.
It was running 200 lb ft torque and 205 HP at ~9 psi on the old engine. I haven't been able to tune it since getting the MWR engine & boost controller due to needing to work 24/7 on school.
The engine now has an MWR built bottom end with crower rods and 8.8:1 low compression pistons. The car is still running 9-10 psi and feels about the same as it did before the build in terms of power (I haven't touched the boost controller, although it is installed).
The tranny has been rebuilt with level10 components by a local tranny shop which are good to >350 HP (according to level10).
Basic list of mods: there is probably more than 15k invested in this car....
