The scoop in our celica...

hey, does the scoop in the celica actually serve a purpose?! i can see that it directs air somewhere, but i didnt know if it was really for a use, or just for looks. and if it serves a purpose, will gettin a raised scoop (mb autosports) improve anything or make some sort of difference? thanks Chicks Dig Speed

i think it does do something. they made my front strut bar to not block the airflow through the scoop...so i duno...
