Haha, I knew someone would say something about my hoodpins....I would but I completely broke my latch on my hood so, it was either pins or buy a new hood.

IMO once you add the hood scoop it needs a new front too. Kind of looks out of place all alone like that, but I know you are building up gradually.

Loose the hood pins, I read the previous post, so fix the thing.
Paint the rear drums black, painted drums=rice.
I'd personally keep the engine bay plastics a stock color as well.
I'm not a fan of the gauges ( i like the led conversion)

I agree that the red color is a little bright but since you have racing harts on there it doesnt matter those are like the best rims I want a set for myself. Good luck on the gradual build

Looks really good....till you get to the hood pins. That's a big no no on stock hoods.

And I'll add to the painted drums ?....since when is painting a drum or caliper rice?? I guess those Porsches with red calipers are rice, huh?

I agree with Chumpchiggy on this one. First, you say paint the drums black. Then you say painted drums are rice. Think and express your thoughts clearly before posting your critique. You didn't like the color and recommended a new color. The info should end there on the drums.

Hey man, your ride is sick! I have the same gauges and the LCD conversion to blue. Except my needles are with red LEDs. My question to you is this: Your blue needles show up really well during the day, did you paint them or put a strip on it of some sort? Mine are really good looking at night but during the day thet look like crap because the orange painted strip on the needles was taken off. Any ideas? Can I put a red strip of vinyl or something like that on my needles and still have it light up properly at night? Thanks in advance. Any other people know?

Thanks guys, now to answer some of the questions.... I love my wheel tire combo, it's alil rough on the wrong roads but I still like it. And, for the needles, get transparent paint and paint the back of the needles where the orange was. The backs of mine are painted blue. Just pry them off w/ two spoons on each side.

painting the drums gives painted the calipers a more rounded out look. why paint just the front? then it'll look imbalanced... IMO doing a half-assed job (by that i mean incomplete) is more rice than painting the drums. ie- having only 2 rims in the front and leaving the wheel covers in back... ie(2) - leaving out the side skirts on a body kit.. there are others but i forgot them

I really like the Carbon Fibre look on the centre console. Very sharp. I have been wanting to do something with the little compartment above the stereo too - that's where I keep my sunglasses. I was thinking a trd badge or something. Yours looks great.

I also painted my engine plastics - yellow tho - and tonight am getting new wheels and tires and they are painting the calipers and drums yellow as well- if that is rice then count me in.

this is what pisses me off, you guys rag on his car, when its the same damn car you had to begin with. im not flaming anyone but being so harsh saying "this = rice" is pretty stupid to me. you could be a bit more civil by saying man, you should paint the drums black, instead of the red color.

You think all eclipses suck? Cuz larry doesnt even have a body kit. His car looks clean as hell... most definitely one of the nicest eclipses I have ever seen. I honestly don't care for the eclipse styling, but his car looks nice.

Well, I have a past w/ eclipses. I had a 96....blew it and I didn't drive hard back then. Then, I had a 97 GS-T and lemoned it. Then I had a 99 dodge avenger and totalled it by hitting a damn eclipse. I hate them all!!!!
