so the rims im getting are 17x7. so when i go to select the tires package, i get two options for the sidewall: 215 and 225. I thought that 17x7 could only mean of those two options, not both? so whats the advantages/disadvantages to the 215 as opposed to the 225? basically which one should i choose?

according to the calculator below, 225 will put your speedometer farther off from where it should be when compared to the 215s. I just bought some 17x7 rims too, and Im going with 215/45/17 tires

Correct, they correct size for the Celica is the 215/45/17, the 225/45/17 is 10mm wider but its also taller. Although either or would be ok i guess on a 17x7 i would go with the 215/45/17
