I think all of the aftermarket wings out are too high and ghetto looking. They just dont seem to flow with the car. I would love something that is subtle and much more curvy than all the aftermarket wings. How much would it cost to o that custom, and where can it be done? Something that looks like the stock wing, but is maybe 1 or 1.5 inches higher. Any suggestions?

I would think that it would be quite expensive to have a shop make you a single spoiler just for your car, but it would be worth it if you got what you really wanted in the end(plus you would be unique). Probably the best place to start is the phone book. I would just call some shops that do body work and ask them about it. I would be surprised if you would find some one from these initial calls, but I'll bet that the people that you talk to that work at the body shop know people that they could reffere you to. Also, you could try a hot rod shop if there are any in your area. I know that hot rods and imports are nothing alike, but the people who work there have done custom stuff that is much more difficult than makeing a spoiler(frenching in lights, chop tops, ect.), they could definately make a spoiler for you.
One other thing that you could try before you go custom is check out some of the lesser known German body kits. I've seen several German kits with spoilers that look almost stock and they might have what you are looking for. You just don't see many pics of them on this site.
you should look at the kaminari wing... here's a few pics of jotan's
god I love this wing... simple but hot. to jotan

that kam wing is stock height right? I was looking at that too, but i didn't (and still dont) have the money at the time to buy a wing. I just want to see what my options are. I would love something that jumps out and grabs me, but nothing has yet. Nothing seems to flow to my tastes, and I know alot of celica owners share that same feeling. Thanx for the help :)

umm well first are you going for functionality of looks if you want looks i would say that kaminari is about as good as it gets but for functionality go with a cusco wing they are similar in look to apr but not so high and very effective at stabalizing the car while going very fast and are a true jdm piece pick up an option magazine and loook at the cusco gt wing it is really something in my oppinion

this wing is actually a TINNY WINNY BIT higher then stock... i lined my car next to a celi with a stock spoiler and you can tell it's about 1/2 inch taller... not noticable by the naked eye... so it looks stock, but isn't
i just wanted to be different... alotta peepz wonder why i have the wing, it looks like stock, but when they see the CF, they are impressed
it's kinda hard to find though... good luck with a custom wing... $$$

You can definetly get a custom wing for your car --- you are going to pay a hefty sum though. I know of a place here in South Jersey called Cervinis --- they will make custom body parts (wings, hoods, body kits) for just about any car ----- IF the price is right. But I think the place is so loaded with work that the wait is almost 6months before work is even started. Good luck man.
