I just put my coilovers in the rear today (TRD) and i lowered the spring perch all the way down and it still has about a 3 inch wheel gap.
What am I missing here??
I haven't put the front ones in yet and am almost afraid to..

TRD made coilovers? Its takes time for the springs to settle.

odd to hear that happen....im sitting on trd's aswell and didnt have that problem.......they do settle down a bit, but i dont remember there being that big a gap.......double check the install guide again and make sure you set them at the specified setting's

Double check your install. It takes time for the springs to settle but you should'nt have those results....

okay they've settled a bit after putting the fronts in (only a couple hours but big difference).
there's about a 1/5" wheel gap at lowest spring perch setting, sound normal? I'm surprised it doesn't go lower, not that i actually WANT to go lower :)

wow check the install, usually coilovers will give no gap in the front and will tuck the rear

the coilovers are shorter to begin with and should lower the car with its normal settings.
Also how did you lower your car? THru spring perch or the bottom bracket?
