summer slam at e-town

whats up everyone...i was wonderign if anybody is going to go to the sumemr slam car show at e-town this year..i really wanna go to it for the first time with my car...i think its like somehwere in the beginnign of july...also can someone give me some info on how to actually enter my car and what do i do when i get there and sh!t like that...dos anyone know any info on it..i cant find it on thier website either..lket me know guys....or just let me know on saturday at the meet..

Next time, scratch on the vid's and live up to the pics. You know what I'm talkin' about. Next time Brooke is in the continental 48, I'll surely set up some shots of her in, on, and around the Celica instead of the old 4Runner. One dude said she looked like Charlie Sheen's wife. Can't remember her name but that cracked me up.

it's gonna be bracket racing, right? for you first timers you better make sure you understand how it works before you go...first time I went I had no clue.

during the time trials, you run as many times as you want, and the purpose is to figure out what you're running consistently....then once the eliminations begin, you choose your "dial-in" time. Then the object is to get as close as possible to this time without going faster. If you go faster you automatically lose.

This is obvious, but just in case....when you pull up to the line, there are 2 yellow lights that light up to tell you that you're in the right place, so creep up to the line and watch the lights, if only the first one is lite that means you're sitting back a little far (but if you're afraid of jumping the gun, you may want only 1 light), keep crawling and the second will light...then just get ready for the green! As soon as the yellows begin start revving cause they go fast!

and by the way as u can see in my sig i've finally ran my SE-R pretty much stock, with incorrect timing extra weight in the car and bad burnouts (ebrake is not working well) 15.6@87mph

how does the classes work? do you just pick what you want to be in/race against, looking at saturday's classes, what happens if you pick B1 and drive faster than 15.00? is this like the dial-in time, where the winner is the person who comes the closest to 15.00?

that depends on you, if your running 14.95 u can be in B2 u just cant dial in any slower then 14.99 or u can be in B1 and dial 15.05 and give urself a lil slack

this isn't the "heads-up bracket" that they used to do in atco

yo man i'll probbaly be showin saturday..we should try to get alot of celis from here to be next to each other...i can only go there on sat cause i got to work sunday..damn i ddint realize that saturday was summer slam already..damn ...anyway what time do we got to be there to show...also anyone who wants to meet up before and go there pm me please so we can get this all setup quick...casue none of my freidns want to go becasue they are really gay..

thank's Papachuu, that's what I expected. I'm prob gonna dial in at 15.25, depending on my time trials. Last time I went (first time) I ran 15.852, but i'm hoping to run close to 15.25.
