Update: Molly Designs Kits

I called Molly Designs last night. I was informed that they will again be producing the Celica Kit. The Wing still is not in a production stage as of yet but they are working on a new design of the same wing and aparrently going to try to release it soon (dont know now soon but he said soon)

yeah honestly i liked their old spoiler. i wonder what their new one will look like.

do you think i should order the olds tyle kit or new style kit?

no the kit and the spoiler will be the same thing. just the manufacturing of the spoiler is what they wanted to change. they're not changing the design of it

The reason they are making a new spoiler is cuz the old one cracked... that's what I heard from Dezinr a long time ago... this the new wing won't be a bad thing...

Molly Designs has always been strict in that they will only sell the kits as a kit and not part it out. the only way people like myself and larry had the side skirts and not all of the other pieces is that we've bought the whole kit and either b/c of an accident, or just parting out the kit have come away with bits and pieces of it. Personally I have the sides and the rear, the front was damaged in a collision. and i believe larry bought the whole kit and parted it out locally (no clue to whom) I dont know why MD wil not sell the kit parted out but its they're policy so best bet is to find someone willing to share the kit with you.

does it matter? it'll get frucked up in the shipping probably..so your best bet is NOT to get it prepainted, unless its local pick up...

honestly they dont get messed up in shipping. they wrap them so well and so carefully it takes forever to get all of the damn bubble wrap off of them. all they need is a good waxing before you put them on the car. the only reason i wouldnt get it prepainted is if your car has been driven for a while your paint has probably faded slightly and the kit will look a little different in different light
