Are wheel spacers the answer?

Hey guys I just got my 17's and am having a problem putting the center caps on. The lugs are in the way. Would wheel spacers solve this problem? The offset of the rims are 45mm. Any info would help thanks...

i dont know if that is the answer to your problem, but with a +45 offset you will likely need a spacer. that is a real high offset. you may experience rubbing. if i were you id get a spacer.

a spacer isn't going to help you get your center caps on...it'll get you closer to stock offset, but the lugs are still going to seat on the wheel just the same (albeit attached to fewer stud threads)...you need different lugs.
