Gas mileage

I drive a 2000 gts with about 71000 miles on it, i was getting about 25-27mpg consistantly around town same gas station and same octane. I recently got my clutch replaced and now im getting 23 same gas, octance all that. Would a clutch replacement do that?, the clutch has about 550 miles on it now so it shoud be broken in.

Use less gas when letting out the clutch. You are probably still overcompensating for the slippage. Either that or you may want to look at your spark plugs, maf, or air filter.

I just did the maf and cleaned the filter, i guess now would be a good time to change plugs. thanks
