but why does everyone with a TRD sticker
and s2000 antenna think their Mr. John Force
or something...

i mean... Honestly Celicas ARE NOT fast....
not even close... u guys but i/h/e and u guys swear
you have 50+ HP...

im not a hater... i love all imports... but i hate the revvin riceboys
from a honda point of view.

not every driver is like that, but there are a few "bad eggs"...

true the celica is not fast, i think it pretty quick for a little 4cyl, but its not a viper... or and lamborghini. :)

exactly how many peeps have you seen with a header. Im sure not that many, and those that you saw were GT's. Now im not saying the GT isn't capable of handing a honda its ass, but stock for stock a GTS will out perform most hondas on the road today. So if one was reving at you, its because he wants to see what you got, not because he's ness rice.Of course the exception of most hondas is the S2000.

Then to Toyota anything that does not beat Supra is slow as dirt, which kills everything Honda makes. The big boys in Japan is Supras and Skylines, Honda is still trying to catch up dude.

Celicas look great, are a blast to drive and have REALLY nice handling and breaking. All around a great sports car. Hondas have.... tires. 4 of em to be exact because the ricer probably took out the spare in an effort to strip weight so he wouldn't get smoked by RAV 4s anymore.

People drive celicas because they are fun. Of course they aren't THE fastest car in the world, but they are a great all around performer for the money.

Hondas look like a$$ and are common as dirt... I think they come from the dealer now with 8 foot wings and 27" exhaust stock... but they are still slow and handle for $hit. The S2000 is kinda fun to drive (shifter felt great) but thats the only one and for that kind of money you can buy a Celica and mod the hell out of it and still have money left over for insurance, lunch, gas, and tolls.

I'll tell you the same thing I told every peice of cr@p civic and CRX with $5000 in mods that I smoke - Nice car. Come back and see me when youve got an engine in it.

I have yet to lose to a Honda, even a 2000 Si with i/h/e. I don't see how a 14.9 bone stock is slow. That is what I pulled and I had never really raced. My friend Tim pulled a 14.4 with intake and exhaust on 17's. It's all about the driver too. I hate having this argument, somebody close this please.

I've beaten every honda I've raced (and that's a lot) in the valley I live in exept two:
-One had a DX coupe with B18C5 i/h/e
-the other an EG hatchback(modded to sh!t) with a B18C5 i/h/e and more.

I even beat this one integra with GSR/turbo. I only beat him 'cause he didn't know how to drive. He spun his tires off the line for a long time. I got up to 100mph before he started to catch up. :)

I have NEVER been beaten by a Civic. I have beaten Si's so badly it wasn't even funny, and this with two passengers in my car.

I have NEVER been beaten by an LS/GS/GSR Integra. The only Integras that have beaten me are a supercharged/nitrous GSR and I hung even with an ITR.

An S2000 beat me...go figure, and I've never come across a racy NSX. This guy is just pathetic.

However I HAVE come across more than my fair share of EX Civics with coffee can farter exhausts, windshield washer LEDs and hyperwhite lights.

Damn...The guy makes a valid point and the entire thread turns into a "I hate honda" thread. The types that rev at people fall into all car types. I've had a few celicas rev at me also, along with hondas, fords, even chevys. It's not the car it's the mentality driving the car. No need to hate on any cars just because there's some imature driver behnid the wheel.
