Cloth Door.. done over...

I was wondering if anyone has takein out the cloth peace on the door and done it over in leather... and if you have where did you buy the leather??

i got mine done... but they did it when they installed leather in my car... so.. i wouldn't have a clue... i would imagine it's pretty easy though

okay well thanks yeah it shouldnt be too hard to do just the cloth panels thanks again :)

it will take you less than an hour to do both... the door panels stay on for it. get ahold of the cloth pull it off then scrape the part of the panel with a razor so you can remove extra foam from door. trace old cloth onto new leather so you have identicle paterns cut out sand door spray on glue , spray glue onto the back side of the leather position it and tuck in edges....then your done

what? you don't take the door panel off?

nope you don't have to take the door panel off the cloth is glued on. the door panel only breaks down into 3 peices the arm rest is removable that peice 1. the pocket at the bottom of the door is removable it you cut out the clips and hot glue it back on that 2, and then the rest of the door panel is solid peice 3. so the insert is on the solid door panel. the only point in removeing the door panel would be to give you more room to work with
