any feedback on Xenon Depot (www.xenondepot.com)?? I was thinking of buying a set for my car, but haven't heard any info on them. while we're at it, do you think HID's are worth the 550 bucks they're charging, and u think it's a DIY job??

they seem to be selling Phillips HID conversions. Check the GP section... I believe someone is running a group buy on these right now for a really good deal.

hmm, thanks for that, but if you're referring to Evil-x's GB, it's for a different bulb type than mine (i don't drive a celica, as you can see below). I found a GB on another website, but nobody can find pics of the 5000K kit vs. the 6000K one, and not really sure if the latter is worth the extra 90 or so bucks.

I noticed the car. ;)

However, I purchased mine thru a GP, and we also did a buy in for Hondas and other cars. I don't see why this has to be H7 only... just ask if he can get you H1s for your car. It's just a different base, but same system. I'm sure they'd be willing to include you in order to reach their GP goals.

I have 7000k bulbs on mine, and they're a really nice bluish-white. However, because of the color it's not very optimal... my Lexus has the standard 4300k temperature and is much better at lighting the road. Granted these put out a lot of light, but the color contrast isn't the greatest. I'd stick with a 4300k temperature unless all you really want is the look. My friend's 6000k bulbs are very purple. Odd, because some kits tote their 8000k bulbs to be purple and 7000k bulbs blue, while others say 5000k is blue and 6000k is purple. :wtf:
