hey guys i want to delete my cat to make my exhuast more free flowing. I am going to put boosted ported header on soon and i want to get more out of that gain. Will i need any special tools? welder? or should i just go with a more free flowing cat? i dont really care about emissions and i dont mind doing the cel fix. Any suggestions?
People who remove their cats are socially irresponsible pigs
A) You will not pass emissions testing, even if you remove the CEL, because most states require visual inspection
B) If you are pulled over, you will be given a ticket
C) The catalytic converter reduces harmful carcinogens - you're polluting everyone elses air
D) You'll be breathing those carcinogens in DIRECTLY. Enjoy cancer for 3 extra horsepower.

A. Arizona or well espeically where i live there is no emission laws and i do my fair share i always recycle :)
B. When a cop pulls you over he isnt like "whats that sound, sounds like you dont have a cat. Step out of the vehicle and let me take a look under your car sir"
C. I know i probably will be poluting everyones air but who will be right by my tail pipe?
D. Im not going to be by my tail pipe either.
and this thread was suggestions not to say i was going to do it. If you were going to give environment and performance advice you could have just put "free flowing cat".
