Has anyone ever successfully fitted a lotus supercharger to their car?

No because there are better kits out there made for our cars specifically.

I'm sure there are better kits. I'm curious for the purpose of investigating the idea for if and when I get a GT-S in the future. The reasoning is that in Califorina, if I could pull it off as a puedo engine swap from a newer car, it might be considered street legal. In addition, I see some advantages to the way the intake manifold is designed so that I could possibly fit a water to air intercooler instead of the regular air to air one fitted to the Lotus engine.
It's a creative way of getting around the smogging issue. I know some people still do it the illegal way but the idea that it could be pulled off legitimately is appealing to me. Hence the reason I asked.
