Hi guys,
So I bought my celica from a Toyota dealership this week and I've had nothing but trouble.
When I was first inspecting the car, I noticed the electric side mirrors were not adjustable and they told me this would be fixed when the roadworthy was done.
So a few days later I paid the rest of the money and took the celica home. The electric mirrors still were not working, not to mention the problem I had with the throttle cable becoming loose. I also noticed that one brake light is out.
So I took the car back to the dealership the next day and they fixed up the throttle cable and the electric mirrors.
Took the car home and found out that one brake light still isn't working.
So I'm taking the car back there again today to get that fixed up.
Now I'm just wondering, if you were in my position, would bother to take legal action against this dealership? My reason is that they have basically allowed me to drive the car home in an unroadworthy condition TWICE. Not to mention how they actually allowed this car to pass the roadworthy in the first place.
The other thing is that I have not actually seen the roadworthy certificate myself (I know I'm stupid for not making sure to see it before I paid the money), but regardless, they are still legally obligated to sell a car in a roadworthy condition?
Any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks
