how much lower is the kaminari back than stock? i kinda wanna just swap my rear out... i kinda damaged it... just want to know if it'll be okay if i just put on kam rear and painted it... would that be too expensive by itself? or should i just wait and put the entire kit on....
will the kam rear on an otherwise stock celi look alrite?

the kam rear is 1.5 to almost 2in lower than stock. It'll be cheaper for you if you get the whole kit painted(package deal)than just the rear by itself.
If you only have the kam rear, the car will look weird coz the back will look lower than the rest of the car IMO

I have the kaminari kit and I actually have 2 rear Kam bumpers --- I measured the extra rear Kaminari facisa next to my stock bumper and the difference was a little better than 2 inches. I would definetly wait to get the whole kit as a single unit. It will be cheaper in the long run and everything will be painted at the same time so it will all be from the same paint lot. Also the rear of the car actually wouldn't look bad with the Kaminari rear and all else stock 9since the stock rear sits a little higher) --- The design, on the other hand will look a little strange because the Kaminari rear has the two vents and the rest of the stock body pieces have no flow with this design. Actually man this other Kaminari rear I have is a headache --- YOU DO NOT WANT IT --- Story --- bare with me --- OK -- I received my kaminari kit about a week after I got my car. I opened it and didn't like what I saw (fisheye, grind marks, a warped rear bumper). I was bone headed and determined to get this kit on and "it would straighten itself out" WRONG -- I sanded and fit all the pieces perfectly ---- but the rear bumper was touching the stock exhaust. NOT near it TOUCHING it. I got it painted anyway because I am stubborn --- the rear was not flat across on the bottom and still isn't. It gets lower from left to right --- I called Ray at Kaminari and shot him some pictures and he said the bumper was a factory defect --- so he shipped me out another free of charge and he told me to just keep the other. Basically I am keeping it for backup reasons --- the middle of the bumper (where the rear cutout slots are) is not straight either --- it has dips and waves. I know Kaminari is quality, (I had a kit on my Eclipse) --- I just got a rotten egg.
So --- my bag is ---- many people have asked about this bumper --- I won't sell it because you will be so disappointed with it. I am actually doing you a favor. Hey man look at it this way --- If I was a crude fellow --- I could get your cash and give you a junk bumper --- but I am not into that type of shadyness. Sorry man. Peace.
