this usually happens in high HP FWD cars and is known as
"torque-steer"

somehow i doubt a celica GT has the amount of TQ to replicate this.

Im unsure of your current problem. Can this be attributed to the lack of an LSD and one wheel is pulling more than the other?

Most fwd cars pull to either side under hard brakeing. Now if it pulls while driving thats a different story.

Is it pulling while the clutch is in?

Mine does it too. I had my alignment check and they said it was perfect. It turns out it was my right tire (I always pulled to the right). They switched my right tire to the left and it pulled to the left. It's a brand new rim so it was not the rim. Hope this helps.

I was going to say alignment, but I think in this case it is a little torque steer.

It's Torque steer.. Your aftermarket rims an tires might be making it worse too...

what if the road isn't perfectly level .. even a little bit slanted will make it steer in a direction

i say its BS... never had a problem until after my accident which messed up my alignment terribly.. and my dealer would not fix it for me after i got it back and claimed it to be torque steer. now every time i hit (LIFT) i'm scared the **** out of my pants 2X cuz this thing goes to the right .. after i had it aligned.. now its going lefty but just a bit.... ughhh i have to hold the wheel super super tight .. very scary
