head light and tail light wiring

ok so these two questions i'm about to ask have probably been asked a dozen plus times. so i just want to be pointed in the right direction. first question: how can i make it so i only turn my head lights on when i want them on(night or day) instead of the sensor choosing when my lights are on. I want to be able to turn them off at night if i so wish. Second question: can i wire the tail lights so that the red portion of my tail lights also act as my turn signal. i've seen similar set ups with 2g eclipses and some other cars. if anyone knows what i'm talking about help me out. Thanks!

anyone know about routing my rear turn signals to my brake lights with the brake function still working. i.e. if i'm turning left my left brake light blinks while my right stays solid

If you dont want amber turns replace the bulb with red and red out your tails.

although those do look sick i dont have the money to get aftermarket tails at the moment. as far as redding out my stock tails i've thought of doing that too. i just like to experiment and work with electrical so i thought it might be a fun project. i guess i need to red out my tails next. bluebatmobile here i come lol

May be able to wire in a relay and get it to work? But have it in parallel on the brake side so they work seperately.

The style i have (TYC) you can get off of ebay for about $120. I modded mine with LED's to have a different look.

If you still want to try and make your brake light blink i believe its the solid green wire. you would connect it with the ground wire for the blinker and then just remove the blinker bulb. But im not positive. It would be a trial and earer type thing lol It would be similar to the corner light blinker mod

^ Mind you this set that is on my car is more or less a prototype idea. There really not up to standards if you show your car. They are nice but if you get close you can see the board and resisters and what not. That is why im working on another set to upgrade the apearrence and hide the boards better. But yes i plan to sell these ones after i finish the new ones. Yes they are a plug n play set. After i get the next set done and i like it ill prolly make more :gap: Ill let you know DeepnDebt420 once i finish the next set to see if you still want these. For now you have first dibs lol. Also they are a gloss black inside with a black trim on the outside of the tail.

Yeah I have a white 2000 GT Im going with black tails and black heads. Black wheels w/chrome lip and Mirror windows. And as much carbon fiber as possible. How hard is it to do a 6speed change from auto?
