I scratched my headlights while taking off my covers. I used a cleaner and it must of had a mild abrasive in it.
Does anyone know of anything I can use to polish them?
Right now they have a slight milky haze where I rubbed them to get the glue off. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I'm not sure if this will work. The headlight is actually laminated with a flexible plastic coating. Not sure if it is rigid enough to be polished back to clear.

So I guess I may actually be screwed, huh. That F#%^ sucks.
Anyone know the price of new lights. I'm sure they are salty.

I think they are about $700.00 a set OEM
I found a shop that sells black housings for our cars FIZZ , I dont have the link at the moment, but they have a add in Super Street mag, in one of the last 2 issues.

Thanks Guy's. I tried polishing them with a light tac cloth. It actually seemed to work. The scratches weren't deep enough to cause too many problems.
Besides, right now I can think of a few other mods I'd like to spend $800 on then new head lights.
Thanks again for all of the help.

 I agree with you there. A couple scratches on a headlight would not make me spend that much money. You can do so much to your car with $800. You could always take your car to a dealership and see if they will cover the headlight under warranty. :chuckles:

ACTUALLY there is a warranty on moisture inside the headlamps. Mine were very slightly fogged from a lil moisture inside, took it to the dealer just to check it out and they replaced both lights free of charge. Maybe yours have moisture in them too? :naughty:
