As you all know, i just got my 03 GT yesterday. I've always wanted to leatherize my interior and stumbled upon this on ebay.
Looks ok and I think GTS seats would fit the GT but the shipping is quite expensive. I dunno if it's worth it. You guys in CA are so lucky

says they will fit. depending how far u want to go with ur car i would hold out, many enthusiasts with a gts end up replacing the leather seats with an aftermarket cloth racing bucket seat, look into it maybe ull like them better, bride seems to be the more popular one, but there are many brands out there to fit all price ranges

my seats area actually 6 out of 10. the passenger side left bolster has a lil bit of frayed edges because probly the lady rubs her back getting on and off the car. for me it's an eyesore so i plan of replacing it. i also found ebay stuffs like leather seat covers (black with red stitching) that goes for $500 but you have to take out the oem cloth and put these leathers in.

I would just hold out a lil bit and go for some nice Bride racing buckets or something similar or whatever brand you are in to at the moment. I mean the GT-S leathers seats are nice and I love mine, but I would never upgrade to them I would go ahead and hold out and get a nice setup like Hombre has.

Either re-upholster them how you want or replace with aftermarket racing seats.

can someone post pics of this bride racing seat?
Hombre: please post your pics :D
i asked here in Paterson, NJ. re-uphostering all 4 seats to leather including the door panel cloth would come up to 800$. you can pick your leather color and stitching color (I want black leather with red stitching yum yum) :D I't expensive though

Hombre: please post your pics :D
I mean Hombre's car is very nice, but I always for some reason liked the pictures he posted up with his Corbeau seat and racing harness in his "Time Attack" setup thread he posted in the reader's ride section.
There just something about that setup I really like... :shrugs: but the show setup he has now is pretty amazing as well.
Here is the link to his "Time attack" mode setup which is SMEXY!

And here are a couple of favs from that thread. :wiggle:

You would be surprised how comfortable those are for daily driving. A friend of mine has bride racing seats in his DD and those things are incredibly comfortable even on long trips. A full harness might get annoying but I've seen some people who are able to keep the stock belts with racing seat.

Yeah I could see how the racing harness could because somewhat of a pain for the daily commute, but the seat itself are not that uncomfortable at all. I have a friend with an STI that has some aftermarket racing buckets in his and they are surprisingly comfortable and hold you in so well... like they are supposed to do. :wiggle:

I don't know if my eyes aren't deceiving me I think Hombre might not use the harness for DD use. If you look closely you can see the stock belt and the place where it clips in beside the seat. I am betting that he uses the stock belt when he is just scooting around town, and just uses the race harness for shows and such. :shrugs:

I believe it was said that a lot of racing seats have a bolt on the side for you to put in your stock seatbelt clip. So it's not required for you to use a racing harness.
However before purchasing a racing seat you should check if it does indeed have that bolt as specifications from different brands may vary.

lol nice to see my pics :D post whoring ftw. as for my car. Well now my interior doesnt look like that but i do use my harnesses daily at the moment. Reason is we installed an Automotive Progression Harness Bar so that they are now fully functional harnesses. in that pic the angle of the harness bolting to the back was too steep to be safe. However at the moment the harness bar pinches the stock belt and sometimes is hard to pull. So i just use the 5pt. Also i finally got the crotch strap 5th point bolted in properly so the harness holds correctly instead of riding up abit as it did with only the 4
btw for a smaller guy (i am abit big) that LG1 seat from corbeau would be great daily driver seat. it is very padded and holds you in nice. They are also pretty cheap. I loved it but will be getting rid of it eventually for a slightly higher end brand (not bride)
