That sucks dude, I know how you feel with the bad luck. First, it was the old guy that nailed me. Then, my car caught on fire no less than a month later. THEN my radiator cracked. Then my sisters friend nailed my car into and through my garage door. I've been lucky enough not to have anything happen lately (knock on wood) but I so feel your pain.

Hopefully once you get it fixed everything will be ok.

:werd:

after being back a few month, so many Vets are gone and the ones that are around, kinda get the feeling there $ick of:

newer, younger, crowd who basically ask the same crap over and over again

some new Members are kool and glad to see the Celica crowd changing...hopefully it will go the way of the Supra...some day :werd:

I can assure you it's impossible to pull a trans out of the Celica in 45 minutes. Unless you've got the motor sitting on the floor and you just have to unbolt it. From start to finish, with it in the car... it's not possible. Though if you really believe you can, please film it for me.

On the other hand, I had the same feelings for my Celica. After 1 motor and 1 trans and numerous other small things I lost the feeling for her. I miss the car, though not having it anymore is one of the best financial/emotional decisions I've made to date.

Actually it took me about an hour....Ive done it 4 times on my own.. and a few times for friends' celicas... :)

Since you seem to enjoy working on the Celica so much, would you be interested in a GT-S head?

I'm too damn lazy to put it in the FS section or on Craigslist. It only ever had a few thousand miles on it. I don't have cams or rocker shafts for it though it is as clean as they come. I have a ton of pretty detailed pics at home if you're interested. Make an offer just please don't lowball me. I know what they go for and it's only taking up a little space in my garage (hell it's been sitting covered in my garage for about 4 years now). Lemme know

:chuckles:

Sounds good, you ever need one, keep me in mind. I'm not doing anything right now, maybe I'll actually put the pics in the FS section. Hmm... or maybe I'll drink beer and play video games.
