I need a drivers side rear Quarter Window, mine got busted out over the weekend, and I was wondering if you guys might know where to get one or maybe someone here might have one they would be willing to sell??

Look in the phone book for an auto glass place. They will drive out to your car and replace the quarter for you. I don't know how much it will cost, but I don't think that it will be too much. After all, the glass is pretty small and all you do to install it is glue it on.

Ouch, I would do what chameleon said though. Sounds like the most convenient way to do it. How did it get busted though? (if you don't mind telling) I hope no one tried to break into your vehicle through that tiny little window.

From what I could gather, someone tried to break out the drivers side window, by hitting it with something, missed and caught the edge of the quarter window, it didnt fall out, it just shattered, it is still in the car, just cracked, it appears that after that happened they got spooked, and got the hell out of dodge. I came out of the K-Mart and seen it and got a police report. Sucks, really sucks.

The rear quarter window is one peice with the rubber. You can get it from Toyota. Toyota charges 64 for the window but you could get it cheaper. Then you will have to have a glass place replace it.

One piece with the rubber, and my understanding (after getting in a collision) is that the window doesn't just pop right in, once it is in, it is permanent. They had to re-do mine, and that involved breaking the new window out of the car, only to replace it again.

I just had mine taken out to get the car painted the windows are made with the rubber already attached. The windows have 3 rubber tips on it to help sit it into the window area but it is still held in place with a apoxy sealant. You will have to have them cut the window out then apply the sealant then put th window back in. It doesn't take them long either.

I have seriously thought about the Lexan deal, anyone know where to get them. It would be pretty cool to have Lexan in it instead of glass, a minimal weight savings, but it would be a start.

same thing happened to me last summer, my local auto glass place replaced it right away no problem.
