kinda hard to say with that vague description.

of course it could be normal...a wet road isn't going to offer as much grip as a dry one.

it could also be your tires...a model that doesn't perform well in the wet or a tire that is too worn to channel water away effectively

I can't see how it could be a problem with your car (other than the tires)

well it only happens in the rain i have to use alot of power to control the car from the steering wheel b/c the car slides so much its also hard to brake whenn im driving in the rain i lnow that braking in the rain is harder b/c of the wet road but it seems to me that im going to hit the car in front of unless im going less then 40 mph and even then i have to brake very hard. when i bought the car in march the dealer said the ownere before had changed all of the tires a month before she had brought them the car so if this is the truth then the tires should be 4 months old . they are potenzas i dont know the sizes but they have the stock rims on them. shouls i change the tires?

how many miles do you have on your current tires.. and how much tread is left?

Correct me if I'm wrong, I could've sworn that Bridgestone Potenza's are stock on a GT. So it could be possible that the dealership lied to you about the tires.

An easy way to check the tread of a tire is to use a penny. Point Lincoln's head down towards the tread. If you can see the top of his head, then you need new tires.

If the tires still have alot of tread, I would take it to the dealership to check if any part of the suspension is damaged.

Especially in rain, no matter what the speed limit is, you should be doing less than 40mph IMO.

P.S. Please use more periods (.) in your sentences. The first sentence didn't want to end. :)

well I have the gt rims, not hubcaps and from my experience the tires are horrible on anything but dry ground. In snow the tires have no traction what so ever. I couldn't drive through an inch or 2 or snow without losing traction (missed a day of school because of this). Rain is better but not that great. Have to be more cautious but they still slip very easily. I think its the tires. but i don't really know anything about tires. Just sharing that its not only your car that does it
