i would like to do it, what kind of clay bar did you use? And what preparation did you do before you clay your car? I haven't clayed my car for 2yrs, been only waxing and detailing it.

i bought "clay magic" and all i did was wash the car before hand, and i used that lubricant that the bar came with

What if you have wax on the car, ie I waxed mine 2 weeks ago. Will it still work or what? I think I heard one time it just strips the wax off too.

wash your car with dawn....it will take all the wax off...but it will take everything off down to the clearcoat...tehn clay bar...and wax/or polish....but if you use dawn....you need to put wax back on asap
