I just recently got the double halo headlights and know the H1 bulbs are not good when it comes down to it. I was planning on changing the projectors with my old H7s. Has anyone actually accomplished this? Can anyone give me a step by step? I want to install my H7 HID kit with it and need some info first. Also what is the bottom light for? DRL? Thanks to whoever can help

I was thinking of this as well for when i do a make over on that paticular style. I think if you do replace the H1 with an H7 you wont be able to use the Halo's that come with it. Due to the H7 being a bigger lens (i think) But hey while you have it open why not replace them with CCFL's. There brighter and beter. The bottom one is the high beam/DRL. The way you take them apart i the same way you would with your stock ones. You heat them up in a oven.

How do you go about replacing with CCFLs? And when I asked how to take them apart I meant the lens. I know about heating it up and prying it apart. Has anyone actually done this before? I hear a lot of suggestions to do it but never any result stories.
