Got em in.
Looking at the car they look sweet.
From the dirvers seat they have reduced mny visability by like 1/2.
no joke
i know blue type lights disapate quiker so there is less road visable (most of the time).
but this is pretty bad.
my stock fog lights illuminate the road better than my lowbeams.
when i pull up to a wall straigh on i see a weird beam pattern of 4 distinct circles as well way high up.
im guessing this is goin right into the oncomming drivers eyes
:(
i put them in same as the stocks came out.
so i doubt turning them 180degrees will help.
im gonna give it a try anyway
whadda-ya think?

right now bottom line is they look kewl
but its not wise to drive w/o the added visability the fogs provide.

Dude, did you install them right? Mine light up the road just as much as stock, plus the light up reflective surfaces better than stock.

There was a test done with loads of H7 bulbs that tested light output, distance, and geometry, and the BlueVisions were near the top (and #1 for blue bulbs).

When I get my blue visions from Street Figther Ill post up my comments. Usually Im against any kind of blue tinted bulbs, but oh well. Heh I had Hiper Industries plazma xenons in my 1989 COROLLA haha I fooled my friends though (from far away) that I had HIDs.

Make sure you installed them correctly. When I installed my fog light bulbs, I didnt put them flush against the surface, and it messed up the pattern.

I just had Timeport in my car last night, and he said my BlueVisions were bright as hell, comparing them to his blue bulbs.

im sorry but i dont see the blue in these at all. I guess i thought they were going to give off the hue the hyper ones gave off, almost like hids. I heard that you have to have them lit up for a while to get the color so maybe later.

I didnt like mine. Anyone want them? $20 for 3 bulbs shipped.

Less light than my VisionPlus lights, probably a TINY bit less than stock, but a little bit whiter than my VPs.

Im guessing they would look whiter in a reflector based system, like the MB halogen cars. The Celica projector lights seem to make the lights look very yellow, even HID.

They won't look blue unless you're right in front of them, like riding in a car in front of yours, or on the other side of the road. Then they're whitish-blue. BTW, the lights that look blue at all angles are the ones that totally kill visibility. Looking from above, they seem just as yellow as stock, which is why I agree with this statement:Originally posted by pokgai

Pokgai, you didn't like them? I thought it was blue but I stuck with Naxos. I think Naxos are good. 100 watts though.

man i need some good blue bulbs. i have piaa xtreme white parking and bumper wedge lights and they're a really nice blue but haven't done headlights, foglights, or high beams yet. i just haven't seen one yet everyone likes.

I'd recommend Naxos but they are 100 watts. I had my first pair on for 1 year until one blew out and this caused the blown out headlight to appear dimmer compared to my other headlight. I still haven't called Toyota to have them fix it yet but I am on my 2nd pair of Naxos. They have a bright white light. It is really
nice. I will take pictures hopefully this weekend. I need to take pics of my spoiler too.

Which one is better, the philips vision plus or the blue vision? These are legal in the US, right?

If you want the best vision possible with a white/blue tint to it, go with the BlueVision.

They should both be legal. I passed inspection without any problems with the BlueVision headlights (and their wedge bulbs in my clear bumper lenses).

Thanks..
Is there any special instruction on how to install these bulbs like handling procedure and stuff? Do we have to use gloves to touch this thing? How hard is it to install on our celica? I can just look at the manual on how to take off the original bulb, right?

I can just look at the manual on how to take off the original bulb, right? Yup, the instructions are in the owners manual. The hard part of the install is putting the wire clip back on that holds the bulb in. Kinda tricky, especially with the limited space.

One thing you need to remember is DO NOT TOUCH THE GLASS PART OF THE BULB!. The oil from your fingers will eventually cause the glass to expand and even explode. Only hold the bulb by the metal base. If you do come in contact with it, wipe the glass down with alcohol.

Also, try not to scrape the glass against anything. It may cause the bulb to explode by weakening the glass.

You know what, I was out riding my motorcycle in no mans land when one of my headlights went out. So, I stopped by a store, and the only H4 bulbs they had were the Super white bulbs made by (Swallows) APC. I noticed that they were 90 watters too, but I had no choice but to buy them... Anyways, in my bike, holy dear jeezus they are awesome... The light is immense! Most people ask me how much I paid for the HID kit for my bike! I tell them it is just the bulbs though.... I have had them in there for about a year now and I WON"T trade them for ANYTHING! I am going to put them in the car soon and see how I like them there. In my motorcycle, they are amazing! Maybe there is ONE thing that APC makes that isn't ****!

Be careful! 90 watts will most likely melt the connector for the bulb and/or its wiring, and the replacement is mucho $$$ (unless you get it from a junkyard). It may also damage your headlight housing. 55 watts is stock.

BTW, I'm not sure if it's the same for all their bulbs, but APC uses the exact same bulbs as PIAA for some of their colors. The only difference is the packaging.
