what do you do when people stare at you and your car?

I don't know about you all, but I always notice people from the corner of my eyes staring at me and my car. It makes me feel weird. I just try to act like i'm doing something like changing the cd and sh*t.

If it's a guy, I'll either ignore them or stare back... however, when its a girl, I'll wave or honk.

I usually stick my finger in my nose and wiggle it around. LOL... No I usually act like I don't even notice them. If it'sa nice looking girl I'll usually smile hoping I get some jaw droppers, or waves or something. So I can brag to my wife when I get home. LOL She gets so jealous.

75% of the peopel stare at the car LoL some even come up and give me thumbs up and say nice car and things of that sort in the highway people race to catch up to me and give me thumbs up hehehee...and then the ricers race up to me to give me a run but of course..it's an auto GT so I lean back and play my music louder

Sounds like me, too. I usually have my music blasting, so I ignore almost everyone cause sometimes they stare cause it's a girl in a nice car, and sometimes they stare cause I'm blasting Pantera and theyhate it! But if it's a cute guy, I will smile :)

people start just talking to me on the road once i got my body kit, asking a lot of questions and telling me my car is awesome;)

I usually smile and give the thumbs up, unless its a ricer. Then I floor it and show them what the back of a Celica looks like. If its little kids, I'll usually drop to 2nd and get the AEM screaming. I love when they start cheering when I do that. Similarly I'll pull a wheelie for kids on my bike. At least where I live, I never see girls checking out cars. I see them just sitting behind the wheel oblivious to everything.

I like it when im in front of a stop light waiting it to go green and a fixed up civic or eclipse come at my side and check out my celi. Ofcourse ill be rubbing my engine and when the light turn green i let him go first and catch up ( 6 speed baby ) then ill go in front of him at his lane and press my hazard lights a couple of time. However i got a ticket doing that :D. so word of advise dont do it..... What i do now is just mad dog the driver...muahahaha

i usually assume that they are staring at something else. i think we should have a signal for each other. just to weed out the cool people from the regular guys. theres so many celis here its hard to tell.

haha. i'll "raise the roof" when i pull up to another celi owner. then we can "raise the roof" together until our arms fall off or the light turns green.

Last night I was leaving the mall and there was a group of like ten people standing on the sidewalk. The girl I had with me was like "hey they are all looking at your car". I looked and they were all pointing and saying hell ya and stuff. I was rolling low in second gear so I slid it into first gear and dropped the clutch to give them a little rolling burnout. It got the reaction I was looking for. Then on the way to the highway this guy in a civic attempted to race me.:D it was funny. Even my date was laughing at him.

I usually just give them a puzzled look. It kind of depends on who's staring. Mostly, I just ignore them. If it's a fellow enthusiast, I just nod or wave. I'm not stuck up, but it does creep me out that people feel the need to stare at my car.

When i catch guys staring i'll usual give them the head nod.... as long as it's not one of those angry-jealous stares... get that a lot from riceboys in ghetto cars. If they stare a lot and there's an open road i'll show them what the lift cam is all about =) A couple times, in not so good areas i guess, people will roll up to me at lights, completement the car and then offer me drugs. Anyone else have that happen? Pretty weird. Import cars and weed goes together i guess...???

If it's a cute girl, sometimes i'll smile, but i get shy and look away often heh.
